Mandaue Foam began its Shopify journey in 2018. The platform enabled the brand to optimize its processes and boost overall efficiency. Mandaue Foam upgraded to Shopify Plus in 2020 on the advice of its partner Jumpstart Commerce. The brand utilized Launchpad — a tool to schedule, coordinate, and execute events, such as sales, product drops, and inventory restocks. This Shopify Plus exclusive feature enabled Mandaue Foam’s sales team to schedule campaigns and automate the updating of product prices and application of discounts. Moreover, since Launchpad allows teams to track campaign performance in real-time, Mandaue Foam was able to better understand its customers’ behavior and the success of its campaigns.

Mandaue Foam also leveraged Shopify Flow — a feature enabling brands to build custom automations. The brand automated its order management process by creating a workflow in which as soon as an order was placed, one of the 28 physical locations with inventory for that product was informed to process the order. This process ensured the speed of order fulfillment while also eliminating the need to manually track orders.

Results

Shopify Launchpad ramped up the efficiency with which Mandaue Foam rolled out sales campaigns while also freeing up resources to be used for more valuable strategic priorities.
