As a Solutions Engineer, you help break down technical barriers to enable our sales and partners team to show high growth, high volume merchants how they can accelerate the growth of their business with Shopify Plus.

Requirements for the role:

  • At least 2+ years experience in B2B presales solutions engineering
  • Become an expert on Shopify’s application ecosystem and integrations
  • Great troubleshooting and analytical skills combined with the desire to tackle challenges head-on
  • Familiarity with web APIs and client-side development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • A desire to learn, master and teach our growing Enterprise Customers and Agencies
  • A great phone presence that includes an awesome sense of humour
  • Familiarity with version control systems (git/Github is a plus)

Projects you could work on:

  • Providing support to our current Shopify Plus sales and partner teams through various channels
  • Working to help vet and close deals from a technical requirements perspective for both our Enterprise Sales team and development partners/agencies
  • Creating customized product demos and proof of concepts for use during on-site or virtual client demonstrations
  • Exploring creative ways to develop on the platform and answering inquiries about our APIs
  • Mentor and coach the sales team on technical aspects of Shopify Plus
