By now you have a general idea of how to create a great first impression with either one individual or a large number of influencers. Here in this module’s final lesson I want to provide a framework for you to think through how you can generate an effective entry into a category you’re trying to get in 2. Let’s look at what I call the full circle approach. What you see here is six spaces seating
list your list of influencers or connections that you’ll consistently send out product to charity. The nonprofits in this category. Partnerships mainly what I refer to here is actually media partnerships. Product is your product already a fit within this category. Where do you create an entirely new one event which events will you attend or sponsor and ambassadors. And what I mean is long term faces would you ideally want to work with.
So what is crucial is not to just think of these spaces as people with the highest amount of followers or most known but who has a web of connections who can get you to other people. Use the five senses as inspiration. You want your product to be ideally hitting all five senses and the community you want to get into. In order for a community to take you seriously about entering in.
You can’t just pick that one influencer to post one time and get genuine results no one’s going to take you seriously with that. So to help break this down a little bit. Let’s look at how halo entered into the category of CrossFit. So what you see here is you see China show representing the seething less kalos send out a bunch of product to a bunch of different CrossFit gyms and influencers within the space.
They partnered with barbells for boobs as a non-profit community. They sponsor girls gone wild the podcast so people are hearing about it. Then they’re paying j Jason clip on Julie fish as the faces of the brand. They’re sponsoring the games. Then they create an entirely new product with the kettlebell important symbol in the crossfire community. So for you.
Who will be on your seeding list not just influencers but who in the industry should you send your product to one charity or nonprofit. Do you want to give back to what media partnerships should you take on podcasts. YouTube channel. Media outlet sponsor banner ads et cetera. What event do you want to vendor at. Will you create a product specifically for this community and what ambassadors
should you sign to long term contracts. Whether you’re in the category you want to be in for example you make running shoes and you’re in running this full circle approach can still be helpful to you and thinking through different ways to make even deeper impact and separate yourself from your competitors.
