In this video, we're going to go for a walk on series now the welcome series is a series of messages that your customer receives right after they subscribe to your tax list. Someone to jump into my computer here. So we can dive into that welcome series. So from the dashboard. Let's head over to automation. So the welcome series is an automation.
And this is a message that is triggered automatically right after that customer and gives you that phone number from one of the pop UPS that we installed in the last module. So click on Create automation, and then we're going to name it a welcome series. And here, because we are getting subscribers through a keyword if remember in the last module, we created that keyword right.
And we made sure that keyword was life. So here we're going to select a keyword triggered. And then we're going to select that keyword by clicking here keyword subscribe to. And in selecting that keyword that was attached to that pop up.
So that's the first thing that you need to do. And the welcome series you can set it to only send once per subscriber if you would like. And here, we want to cancel the trigger. So if someone as the cart for example, we want to not continue sending the welcome series. So here we want to make sure that that cancellation trigger is setup. So once that's set up. You want to continue to crafting the actual welcome message. So the welcome message one is the first message that the customer received receives.
So I have this guide right here, which you're going to be able to get access to welcome message one is the first message that a customer receives right after giving you the phone number from the pop up and you're with welcome message one I have created this get started GUI that you're going to get access to. So we want to send the first welcome message immediately. We're going to send another one three days later.
And then finally, another one another three days later. So we have three messages right here. And I have perfect examples for you on how to set up those messages. So I'm just going to copy this over right here. We're going to set it to zero minutes. So once that subscriber gives us their phone number we're able to send them a text immediately with the offer that they subscribe to get.
And here with this you are right. We want to replace it with the URL of our website. So we can click here and we can add a product link a discount link or we can just put the website that we want to send that customer to someone and put here or a demo site. And as you can see right here postscript creates a short URL that allows us to track the click through rates and the revenue generated from each of these messages.
So that means that you don't need to use bit.ly or anything like that. All those you urls are going to be tracked with the postscript. You are out right here. And you can add a gift to one of these messages if you remember for messaging best practices we can upload a gift if we would like. So let's go ahead and do that. So we want to say here. And like I said, you can add all sorts of gifts are highly recommend designing custom gifts. If you have the capability to buy here's an example of something that you can download from goofy and add to your first text and then from there, we have another message that goes out three days later. And then we add another message that is also going out three days later. And like I mentioned in that get started guy to have examples of those messages.
So we're going to hit the Save button right here and we're all good to go. And all we have to do now is enable it and all welcome series is completely set up.
