The agency owner

Who should come to Unite 2017: Agency ownerUnite provides an unparalleled experience for founders, owners, and CEOs of design, development, or integrated agencies. The combination of actionable talks and inspirational speakers is guaranteed to inspire the future roadmap of your agency. Attending Unite as an agency owner will help you:

  • Network with other agency owners and create partnerships within the community.
  • Inspire your agency’s focus on Shopify through actionable keynotes and panels.
  • Discover new ways to rally your team, scale your business, and plan for the future.

Unite had just the right balance of specialized track sessions and opportunities to connect with the Shopify community. From a business perspective, I not only met a couple of agency owners doing the same thing we were, I even picked up a new employee.

What talks should you attend at Unite 2017?

If you’re an agency owner, here are some of the Unite track sessions you’ll benefit from most:

  • How to Sell the Value of Shopify Plus
  • Effectively Scoping Client Projects: Partner Panel
  • Examining the Shopify Plus Merchant Personas

Unite provided a perfect opportunity to step away from my inbox, connect with fellow agency owners, and chat about some of the larger questions around team management, growth, and trends. If anything, it was a time to realize I wasn't the only one running into these problems, and I came back to the team with a bunch of terrific ideas.

The app developer

Who should come to Unite 2017: App developerUnite is the perfect event for app developers — regardless of whether you work solo or as part of a team. With a full track dedicated to your craft, your Unite experience will be filled with actionable insight, including:

  • Expanding your development skills to help you produce a better merchant experience.
  • Exploring techniques, tools, and trends to heighten your existing apps, and inspire your upcoming ones.

But Unite isn’t just about connecting with Shopify and growing your skills. There will be hundreds of other app developers in attendance that you’ll be able to network with, share ideas with, and even form partnerships with.

Unite's big highlight was listening to Tobi’s keynote speech. The conference attracts a variety of people, but his keynote on the future of online commerce was able to outline a vision for the industry that tied in every part of the Shopify network. I'm definitely excited for this year's presentations, networking, and that “wow, the future is bright” feeling you usually get at a cutting-edge conference.

The front-end developer

As a developer on a larger team (or as an independent), you need to be equipped with the perfect mixture of platform knowledge, creative ingenuity, and technical skill to really WOW your clients. That’s why we’ve dedicated a major focus of Unite to benefit those of you who actually work within the Shopify platform day in, day out.
